- CARE is a tertiary referral centre to which women with a wide range of female pelvic disorders are referred for evaluation and management.
- Our major areas of interest and expertise include endometriosis, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and menstrual abnormalities.
Investigations
- Urodynamics – the study of bladder function to help diagnose and treat urinary incontinence
- Ultrasound – non-invasive imaging of the pelvic organs
- Colposcopy – an outpatient assessment of the cervix when there are abnormal pap smears to determine if treatment is required

- Clinical research – CARE is regularly involved in quality practice assessment activities and clinical research projects which aim to improve the diagnosis and /or the outcomes of all treatment modalities

- At CARE, patients can count on sympathetic staff for guidance and support to deal with stress, anxiety, uncertainties associated with illness or disease, before and after major medical or surgical treatments.
